Comments:
Bands not as good as last year, which made the sweep that even more satisfying.
Decided to leave the amplifier off one more time before the cycle fades out.
Thanks to VE8EV for the sweep. Had been hunting for a few hours on 20M, 15M and
10M with no luck. Decided to have a Sunday afternoon nap anyway. Two hours later
just before 0100z, I turned the beam due north and started calling at the low
end of 20M. Five minutes after starting that desperation CQ mission, John
called in with a 20-over signal. Done.
Must also thank WA7LT for hanging in there to provide EWA on 15M Sunday
afternoon -- glad I found you despite the almost-impossible path from BC to
EWA.
Some pretty great CW operators out there -- thanks for the contacts.
Loners in the log: EWA, NL, PR, SC and VI.
