Yuk. This shows how much I love PVRC, the last time I took my microphone out of
the drawer was ... ... 365 days ago!
Best moment was this afternoon when a REAL CW contester, N4ZR, referred to me
as "another slacker" when I gave him my nr. 50 to his nr. 53!! A
minute later I returned the "slacker" insult to another big-time CW
contester, N3RR, when I gave him my nr. 53 and his nr. was also 53!
I know 149Q is not alot, but I ONLY operated OFF prime-time, I spent almost all
my time running, and if someone came right next to me and slammed me with nasty
SSB garble/splatter I just went QSY and did not try to fight through it. I can
deal with QRM on CW, not on phone.
Fun to hear my CW friends on phone and have nice little chats.
Go PVRC!!
