Comments:

This was an entirely new experience for me. Gone is the 800 foot hilltop QTH,
beams and Alpha amp. I am now confined to a CC&R environment. My antenna is
a N6BT Bravo-5 remote tuned vertical dipole. The rig is my K3/P3 running 100W. I
had prior commitments, but had a little time on Sunday to see how everything
would work (and how frustrated I would get!). For what it is, the antenna
(which is outside on a patio) works well. I even broke some pileups (I chalk
that up to operator experience, not the station!). Worked all continents, and
even some reasonable DX. I am located close to a marsh near SF Bay in northern
San Rafael, so maybe that helps. At least I can still get on and have some fun
working some DX. And isn't that what it's all about??

Thanks for the Q's......and hearing my little signal. I certainly did not have
the old feeling of "being loud"!!

73,
Ed - K6CTA
