Wow! My feeble memory thinks this is my best ever score from this location.
Low tri-band antenna(Force 12 C3s) and low trapped dipole combined with great
propagation made the score. Might have broke a million if I had a better 40
meter antenna and hadn't taken time off the watch the Apple Cup and the
convincing U of Washington victory. 8Q7, VU4, 9K2, VP8, and 3B8 were
highlights.
IC-746 pro "turned up" to 100 watts from its usual 5 watt level.
January 2015 marks 55 years licensed and the hits keep coming. I am and will
forever be hooked on the magic radio propagation!
