Comments:
FT-1000MP @ 100w. Shunt fed tower for TX. Experimental steerable loop for RX.
Part time. Only two DX worked... XE and PJ2. Heard a weak EA7 on Saturday
night, but no QSO. Slept through sunrise openings both mornings.
Pleased with the new RX antenna. It is steerable in 4 directions. It has a
small footprint, and easy to install. Only 12' high, and 40' diameter. I
could not hear through the S9 noise using the TX antenna for receive.
It was nice to hear and work so many friends. Seemed like good activity during
the limited time that I was on.
