Comments:
40 and 80 sounded best, but activity went down fast; couldn't seem to get going
on 20 or 15 -- lots of backscatter sigs/qso's. 10 was 'there', but no CWT
were--at least,not when I checked and called CQ a few times.
Pandemonium this morning when bringing up the station. Radio2 was not hearing.
Did dummy load tests from the antenna feedline to the radio and all was good.
But wild SWR and no sigs. Checked DB-9 connectors on the homebrew SO2R
controller and JOILA! the two radio filter plugs were reversed. swapped their
positions and back in service -- 3 minutes before the start. Whew! :-)
I love this hobby.
