Comments:

Fantastic conditions! A new station record, for any contest with my 100W and my
invisible Antennas. I missed the Friday afternoon start due to necessary family
business. However, I was up at dawn on Saturday, and an hour before dawn on
Sunday. My area coverage, however, left me with an entire area of mults
missing. TX and OK were well populated, along with good coverage of the
Mid-West and East Coast. Several countries in Eu were worked early Saturday.
There were fewer Eu contacts, but more South American QSO's on Sunday. The big
problem though was the inability to work station in what seemed like a specific
distance. I worked 4 CA stations and 1 in NV(W7RN) I briefly heard stations in
AZ, OR and WA, but was apparently not heard when I called. I repeatedly heard
Dave, K6LL down in Yuma, AZ. I'm quite sure he was running a KW, but was unable
to hear my 100W. His signal, even at his power, was weak and barely readable at
my QTH. This was also the case with OR and WA. I never heard stations in CO,
MT, ND, NM,UT and WY. I also never heard any stations in IN, VE2, VE5 and VE7.
I only heard or worked 4 XE stations in 3 XE states. I'm left wondering if
anyone managed to make a full sweep, with all those 32 XE states added to the
Multiplier list. 73's to all. Bert, K6CSL
