Comments:
FT1000MP, 100W, 40M dipole. I had asked for the 9 to 11 PM 40M CW slot for
W1AW/4 in GA this week hoping to be able to use the call in the NS. The rate
dropped off to almost none just as the NS starated, so I turned off the
amplifier, increased the transceiver output to 100W, and moved up to 7039. In
17 minutes, I worked most everyone I heard. Missed N6ZFO and N8EA, but not for
lack of calling. Had to use the paddle since the log was part of the larger
W1AW/4 log and I didn't reset the F keys on the computer for different
messages. Hope everyone will work W1AW/4 on as many bands and modes as you
