Remarks:
Fireworks in the first hour when logging computer pwr supply burnt out.
Luckily the station is M-M so simply rolled
chair to the left radio/computer & did not miss a QSO. But...missed
Saturday night's JA opening, when after working four of them, the HV pwr
supply failed. Frank was not at home, but when he did get back, took a
while to create a work-around solution. Sunday morning's start was scary
too, in that the HV breaker tripped out three times for me, but then
finally held with no further issues for the remainder of the contest.
Conditions relatively good; no skew path observed, for example. Little Es
& scatter contacts hampered by slow ops (assume new ops) on the other
end. Contesting remains good FUN even after 52 years! Thanks for the
