Comments:
This was mostly a tinkering exercise for me, so rate was (obviously) not my
priority this time. I'm trying to enhance my SO2R hardware and maybe even the
brain. I built an SO2R FSK interface using the FB circuit boards from W3YY and
this was its shakedown cruise. It worked! Now I just need to get the brain to
work! HI! RTTY feels like the optimum mode to practice SO2R. Radio 1 (IC-7600 +
Acom 2000A) was the full 1500W and radio 2 (IC-775) was barefoot at 200W. After
so much time at high power, I forgot how difficult it was to compete with the
other big guns, even with 200W!
