I really enjoyed this contest. I had some great runs which included capturing
the last needed state, DE. My DX multipliers were off by 5 countries this year.
I believe that was probably due to spending less time doing search and pounce. I
did use SO2V for the second time with a decoder on both the receivers in the
FTDX5000. That does speed up the search and pounce process. I start on both
ends of the band and work to the middle. I continue to experiment with decoders
for maximum copy. I thank everyone that gave me a QSO and hope the new
contesters had as much fun as I did this year.
