Comments:
That was different - my first attempt at SO2V with K3 & N1MM. Found it very
difficult at first until I turned off Auto-CQ. Was starting to get the
mechanics of it towards the end. Hardly anyone left on the bands at that time,
though, so wasn't able to give it a full workout.
Lot's of boo-boos, of course, like CQ-ing right on top of the guy I just worked
S&P.
I can see that this has possibilities. Why, on my first outing it increased my
number of Qs by about minus 50% !! Ended up with 100 Run Qs and 14 2nd receiver
Qs. A pretty good ratio, I think - just have to get the total Qa up.
Signals were generally weak on the low bands and lots of trouble with QSB.
Thanks for your patience while I fumbled around trying to get you into the
right window.
73, Jim VE7FO
