Worked the contest despite having just gotten over some kind of stomach flu that
kept me flat on my back all of Thursday and half of Friday. I wasn't quite 100%
yet, so couldn't do the full 10 hours. Conditions seemed good but not
outstanding. Strange that there were three ops using "Buckeye" as the
name...is this a sports reference or something? Also, I got one op who gave his
state as "The corrupt state of Illinois"! I heard that! Here in CA,
our politicians are just as corrupt...they just have better tans :^(
