Comments:
What happened in the evening? I took my last break and returned to a relatively
quite 40 and 80 meter band. Nearly everyone calling CQ was already in my log
and there weren't many ops searching and pouncing. I made fewer QSO's this
weekend than the CW weekend!
And, somebody put a new plasma TV on the air. The QRN was deafening. I could
eliminate much of it with the Pixel loop but there were many contacts I lost.
It felt good to have VE8 and VY2 call me!
I was amused with all the loyal OSU fans who called themselves buckeyes. If
you know what that term means having lived in OH a couple of times as I have,
it means "nut" which seems appropriate in a contest.
Still, I enjoyed the challenge NAQP brings and look forward to August. I may
even give the RTTY test a try. 73, Bill, K8TE
