Wow, that was fun.  Incredible conditions this year.  After having terrible
storm QRN Friday night but deciding to stick with it, Saturday night sure made
up for it and then some.  I have NEVER had an EU pileup on me on 160 like I did
for about an hour at their sunrise.  I could get spoiled with conditions that
the east coast boys have all the time.  ;-)  I think I was getting down to the
guys who had indoor antennas but I really didn't go hunting mults like I
usually do but tried to run all the time.
This was the perfect time to have a new 4SQR in the air.  It got tested out
very well.  It hears differently than a beverage but I really like how quiet is
is.  I would have had to give up on Friday if it hadn't been for the quietness
of the 4SQR but I'm sure some folks thought I was deaf anyway as I was trying
to hear through the storm.
