Comments:
Did this one FD style. Drove to a local fishing hole and put up my 20m dipole
at 25' about an hour before the contest started.
Had some problems with my power cable and lost some time & QSO's from that.
Power cut out completely during 1 contact. Finally figured out what was
happening.
I decided I'd play until the rain came or 20m died out. They happened nearly
simultaneously. The FD-style operation was a LOT of fun and was a great change
from the frustrations of the EP6T pileups last week.
Nice to work both VO1 and KH6. Its still a rush to work those guys with dipole
and low power.
Special thanks for all the new sponsors for loving this contest & making it
great. Chesterton says that a think must be loved before it is lovable. They
have done a great job giving time & effort to making it awesome. Thanks,
guys. The contest community owes you big after this contest lost its
sponsorship.
Hope to see you on CW!
73, Jason N5NU
