Comments:
The highlight was working Kilee ND0C. She was calm, cool and collected. I know
many adults who get flustered with contest exchanges, she handled it like a
trooper. Great job, Kilee!
My hat is also off to the K1N team, was worried as they were sitting on 14045
just prior to the contest working up. They were gone, or elsewhere during the
contests on 20. Really appreciated that thoughtfulness.
40 was kinda punk here down 11 QSOs from last year, mobiles were weak too
often. 20 SSB was also down. 15 was a bright spot, but lacked much activity.
As always many thanks to the mobiles for hitting the road to entertain us. The
breakdown is: NE9U (the speed demon!) 30, N0HJZ 27 (sweep), N0IJ 19, W0ZQ 18,
W0AA 17, N0EO 9, KC0DMF 9,W9FZ 4, KE0G 3 (sweep too I think).
My QSO count was down 6 from last year, mostly on SSB, but added one more
county, missed CRL and HOU this time around. Heard CRL, but not HOU. Maybe a
sweep next year.
A big tip o' the hat to the sponsors, I enjoy the rice and tin as much as
anything. Last year's certificate design was lovely too! See everyone down the
log.
