Dipole at 15 feet, TS-590, KPA500 (150W), N1MM+
My best major contest result ever. In spite of running a dipole in the dirt and
20% of the bands obliterated by plasma TV QRM, I do have fun. No QLFs. 15m was
my best band by far. Worked 85 DXCC total.
Best surprise: My first QSO was also an ATNO, Kaliningrad.
Best propagation: South African running 5 Watts.
Worst key clicks by a major contester: KL7RA on 15m... simply spectacular on
the SDR display.
Wish-I-had-a-beam comparison: Listened to K6XX running 15m. I could only hear
1/3 of the stations he worked. Absolute silence here. Oh well.
