Comments:

I got snowed out of my normal Saturday night QSY to W3LPL, so I figured I'd fool
around in the 'Test at home -- 100W and a dipole. About 3.5 hours Sat nite,
then about 6 more spread from 1400Z to 2359Z Sunday.

What a blast! I expect the people with real contest stations will have some
amazing scores. I'm sure I made more QSOs than I would have as a relief op at
'LPL. (I call myself the W3LPL Dead Band Specialist.)

Thanks to Skimmer and the fresh meat effect, I was able to run a little bit on
40M and 20M, and quite a bit on 15M and 10M.

What, K3KU is praising Skimmer? Well, all I had to do was be audible in the
target areas' Skimmers, and all the Multi-op and Assisted guys would see the
new spot and come running for me. Wow, are they loud. TI5W called me on three
bands.

I also got to exercise my little signal pileup skills. Brag: I got thru to
5H3EE on 10M; I was astounded.
