Comments:

This year Geoff and I were joined by Chad, WE9V who I first met at 6Y1V a few
years ago. There we were on the team that broke the WPX SSB M/2 record. This
year he proved once again he is a world class op posting several 300 + hours
topping out at a 336 clock hour.

Conditions were pretty good overall.

160 didn't open long until late and we struggled with the mults who were kind
enough to come down there for us. Missed VE4, VE5, VE5 and several easy
states.

The high bands played very well with 15 and 10 staying open late every night.
The one exception was 20 meters on Sunday morning when the rates dropped way
down while we waited for 15 to open. Was that caused by the reported solar
flare?

While the record eluded us again, we did have our highest M/S total ever from
here.

Thanks to Geoff for hosting again and we wish the best of luck to the CCC teams
in the upcoming PJ2T events.

John, K6AM
