Wanted to do something different. So, tried assisted for the first time. Sure
seemed less fatiguing not tuning on the second radio.
Unfortunately, something broke on the 40m antenna after about 20 contacts.
High VSWR. Could only run 20 Watts. Just needed to wait until there were no
other stations calling when S&P’ing on 40m. Kinda felt being in W9 with
a kW.
Nice JA openings, especially on 15m. No distorted audio & good operators
makes running JA’s so much more civilized.
