Comments:
This was a Field-Day style effort from the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
We took 2 days to set up a 65' mast for 40/80/160 verticals and a homebrew
Spiderbeam at 30' on a second mast for the high bands, with a K3 at 100 watts.
A great location on the beach facing US/VE gave us a loud low power signal.
Some highlights were three 200+ hours by N1BA, the rate meter hitting 456 for
K4OV, and operating on a porch with a fantastic view looking out on the ocean.
U.S. and Canadian ops were incredibly polite and allowed us to manage some deep
pile-ups. Some lowlights were some intentional QRM and incessant sand fleas
biting us for 48 hours.
Thanks for all the Q's.
