Comments:

A temporary rotating dipole for the high bands (mounted a couple of meters above
our 2 story house house) seemed to play better than the long wire and wire
dipole antenna that I used last year for these bands. I also used a local CW
Skimmer which proved to be useful for identifying potential new stations and
bonus points on each band. On the other hand, as others have observed,
conditions seemed to be poorer on the 15M and 10M bands and - and QRN from one
of my neighbours deciding to do some arc welding on Sunday afternoon did not
help! Anyhow, despite these constraints, I’m pleased to note that overall my
raw score is actually slightly better than what I submitted last year. Only one
5 bander outside VK/ZL - with VE7CC who always has a great signal on all bands
in this contest. Thanks to everyone for the fun and QSOs and I apologise to any
callers that I could not pull out of the high level of man made noise at my
inner city QTH.
