Comments:
Well that was FUN! Noise was easily manageable tonight and had good conditions
on 80 for a change. My new Vee setup is working well for CWT purposes.
Struggling with my 20 antenna, but that is about to be resolved soon.
Anyhow, Larry, WB5EIN, keeps boasting that I am beating him up. Well the truth
is that for 2 weeks in a row, he has killed me. Being highly competitive with
him, this has caused me to examine everything. Antennas, why are they not
working? Connectors, SWR, wattmeters, strategy, etc.
Isn't that what CWT is all about? Getting better among our peers and fellow
ops that share a passion for CW!
I did beat him tonight, but that is because his computer went kaput on COM4.
Oh well. But I did do better tonight and had a blast.
Worked several new ones, including KEN in MS. K5WK I think.. could be wrong!
And Jim, I counted you (N3JT) although someone stepped all over you and I think
they were off freq, and then I hit the wrong button, so that was a disaster!
Good working you though as always.
Thanks to all for the Q's from Elvis Land.
73,
Joe
