Comments:
The higher bands were definitely a disappointment. 10 & 15 were just about
useless due to low solar numbers. That left 20 & 40 as the workhorse bands,
with a bit of 75m thrown in. 40m was the big winner, accounting for over half of
my contacts. The limiting factor on 75m was the higher noise levels associated
with moving the contest to May. I'm not sure that moving the contest from
February was the correct move. Finding a clear spot to call and run a frequency
was hampered a bit by having to compete with all the other QSO parties. I saw
very little in the way of cluster spots for other DE stations. I received
several comments about being the only DE that people could hear, or find on the
bands.
