Comments:
This time I had a visit from Murphy. Didn�'t succeed in switching on the main
amp on Saturday and had to use a smaller spare one instead. For a first time in
years Internet was broken for the whole weekend (of course I didn�'t see the
need to bring USB cable and charger for my mobile phone) and I had an
absolutely frustrating long conversation with the helpdesk from the provider
(customer service quo vadis?). In the end I switched to the unassisted
category. On Saturday I mainly focused on 20m first (perhaps I was thinking
about going SB?) but gave up and decided to go AB. 10m was a nightmare,
couldn�'t get anything going there. I guess I found enough excuses by around
midnight and drove home. After a relaxing night and a perfect breakfast I drove
back and found Q-rates to be much lower compared to Saturday. In the end I
called it quits after 17h of participation and spent a nice Sunday evening
instead of shoveling points on the lowbands.
