Comments:

Most of the preparation this time was spent in cleaning the shack. The mouse
problem is awful there. I did not get much fixed as a result. Most bands were
in rough shape electrically. (Mostly antenna problems) Only 50,144, 5.7 and 10
GHz worked well. Activity on the higher bands was pitiful. Conditions were poor
with rain starting Sat night and going all day Sunday with drizzle and rain. We
spent most of the weekend fixing stuff to get on the air. K1BX operated and
N1JFU fixed stuff and operated a bit. AA1VL and K1WHS were fixing stuff all the
time, and by Sunday, we could see that it might be possible to see the light at
the end of the tunnel. I am hopeful that my energy level will stay up and I fix
some of the tower issues that need doing to get the VHF and microwaves back to
working well.
There was a bit of Es on 50 MHz Saturday and we worked some grids in FL and the
SE .
