Comments:
Did not spend as much time as I would have liked in the Makrothen this year due
to dealing with flood problems. Shack had two inches of water on the floor ,
and had water from the storm in two other rooms as well. We were lucky though,
as we are not in a flood zone and did not get hit anywhere near as bad as other
South Carolina residents throughout the state. Bands were not optimal the times
that I took a break from sucking up water and contacts were far and few so Q
rate was terrible. Seems that the money band was 20 meters, was really hoping
for a good opening on 15 or 10 but it never happened. Had fun despite of
everything, and was a nice slow paced stress reliever. Hope to do better next
year, heard fellow Swampfoxer K7OM Ted on 15 meters.
