Comments: Diminished results on 160 due to QRN but 80 meters was a pleasant
surprise. We hold 10 meters as a gift from the enhanced SFI for this contest.
It was our first attempt as a team for CQ WW SSB from Jody's place in Provo.
The hamlet was busy with our activities and Jody was a fabulous hostess. The
secret was her new dog Molly - our unexpected Mult chaser!
We worked a lot of new US hams in this contest - nice to see them on the
bands.
It was great to work the Europe and Asian stations outside of the US bands - we
should have spent more time there for more DXCC totals.
We want to use a low band receiving antenna for the next contest so our
European friends are not so frustrated with our "deafness" as they
said on the spotting cluster. Yes we read your comments - but the QRN was so
loud we were lucky to get so many Q's.
It is always nice to work friends from around the world - like DF2BO, CE2AWW,
CE3CT, VE7SV, W0GJ and many others from the MWA and RDCC.
