Comments:

Rig - Elecraft K-Line (now with fully integrated KAT500!)
Antennas:
- Cushcraft A3s at 40 feet
- 2 Half Waves in Phase for 40/short dipole for 80 at 38 ft
- GAP MonoGAP 40 Asymetric Feed Vertical Dipole at 3 inches.

Great Conditions! However, helping club friends with operational issues caused
a late start with an unchecked computer system... Which caused issues with audio
for the first several hours, so most of Friday night was a bust struggling with
N1MM/microHAM Router and Windows 7 sound settings which I SHOULD have worked on
earlier, but was too lazy to do. Also, first time out with new computer:
Forgot to set the USB system to not go to sleep... And it went to sleep after
an hour or so. Several reboots later, figured this out.

Lastly, forgot to turn off Windows Update and Windows Defender... And guess
what night Microsoft chose to send me updates? Midnight Friday! Ah, modern
technology! All that is fixed now!

Enjoyable time around house chores, baby sitting a friends son on Sunday and
general weekend home cleaning. Was planning to join a multi for this one, but
that fell through. Regardless, really great conditions enabling my antenna
challenged station to hold a frequency on 15 and run for a few minutes at
240/hr rate (according to N1MMPlus), which blew my mind! Felt like a big gun!

Some really nasty audio out there... Guys, just because the meters swing all
the way to the right does not mean we can understand what you are saying! Wish
the organizers had a handicap for audio quality.

Last rant: What is it going to take to get folks to ID every other QSO?
Assuming the cluster is correct is the bane of our existence! Lots of bogus
calls spotted, and folks who don't ID simply waste everybody's time! If you
don't ID, don't bitch at me for duping you when you are a rare mult!

Enough said. On to CW. Thanks to all for the points and the fun runs, they
are addictive!

Lu - W4LT
