Comments:
Responding to the call from Jim/WX3B for PVRC troops, I participated in SSCW for
the first time since high school, back in the 1950s. Not that I was red-hot,
being limited to low bands because my vertical had failed, or that I blew out
the XYL's Internet connection while on 80m, but squeezing in an hour here and
there between family obligations I did pretty well. As a virtual novice at
this, and struggling a bit with the exchange and N1MM, I only did S&P this
time--no running. Even so, I had a ball. Count me in next year, Jim! 73, John
