Comments:

First 13 somewhat difficult contacts were made from the mountain remote station
using a dummy load instead of an antenna! Why were signals so weak? Why wasn't
I getting out? I worked the East Coast and the Caribbean, so I knew the band
was open but it just wasn't fun hearing so little and getting CQs in response
to my calls. So I gave up and operated the valley station as WF6C for a while
until I realized that I hadn't connected to the KAT500 Remote control app which
is unneeded on 10M. Once started, however, it politely told me that I was on
ANT3 (DL) instead of a real antenna. Clicked in ANT1 and made a few more, much
easier Qs in the originally intended remote configuration.
