Comments:

Wow, what a difference a year makes. Last year, I had over 550k in points and
had a ball. This year was a grind. Score down nearly 75 percent.

Would have gotten on Friday night but my firm had its first holiday party in
seven years. Had a lot to drink and didn't feel like playing VHF contest at
11:00 pm.

Saturday was OK but not great. Openings to EU were not very deep and not long
in duration. Sunday was bad to EU. Never worked DL on CW...WTH.

Missed a lot of states domestically. Worked a lot of XEs and worked a TON of
PYs and LUs.

Hate to say it, but I felt like I had more fun in the ARRL 160 last week.....

Had one casualty when my AL811 went dead around 2000z Saturday. Blew a tube
which then blew a fuse. No spare 811s so I jammed one of my spare 572Bs in its
place. Then I realized I didn't have a fuse. Uh oh! The local Radio Shack
closed this year, so I had to drive over to Annandale to the Radio Shack there
to get a fuse. Bought three packages of them...
