Comments:
Once again, I entered in the Multi-Single category. Although, the
multi-other-person of the contest was more on the technical side.
We almost even got the new computer system installed and tested. If only the
contest had started one-hour later, I might've had DTR and COM ports configured
properly. In the end, I had had to send CW mostly by hand. I'm told that the
numbness in my hand wears off in a few days.
Approximately the same number of hours (18) were spent in the 2015 RAC Canada
Winter Contest, but the results were one-third lower score from 2014. A quick
comparison shows significantly reduced 10m Qs and Mults.
Overall VE4 (and VE5) participation this year was the best in many years.
