Rig: K3 KPA500 Antennas: 40m DP; 80m & 160m Vertical (same one).
80m has become a very nice band for me, been making improvements around the
vertical, removing all metal that is not part of the radial field - even
removed the trellis wires for the Zinfandel going to teach it to stand up on
its own with some head training. the radial field is now between 1000-1500
feet of wire on the ground 80m is so improved it has made 160 not so good -
time for a feed modification.
Had a good time this evening, no wind. Will try the Stew Perry if weather
allows antenna work between now and then.
