I was really pumped for this contest! I spent the first 2 hours installing a new
amp, (Thanks W1YW and K1BG) and in the process found my 80m antenna
intermittent. Similarly, the amp ended up being broken, so that will have be
swapped out too. I wasn't going to use that amp anyway today, (NAQP) so no big
deal. The big deal was that after the high bands closed down, all I had was 40m
which turned into a graveyard. My goal was 300 Q's but all of my issues cut that
down a lot. I had fun and gave the new station a workout, and changed some
ergonomics around. I had fun.
