Fantastic contest. First contest since I put up new M2 2M and 222 beams. 1296 I
also used my new 200 watt amp. Highest contest score ever in a VHF contest.
Very consistent Q's across the board, although 6M was light with no E's. Had a
blast on 1296 worked 3 new grids (FN10, FM19, FN32). Huge difference with power
vs. only 8 watts in prior contests. I am finally heard. Thanks for those on the
chat page and big guns for working all the bands with me (usual suspects). Very
hectic trying to schedule Q's. Also enjoyed rag chewing in between the Q's, a
few new stations on Long Island which is what its about, keeping the bands
alive. Looking forward to June, hopefully E's and more Grids. David
