Comments:
Congratulations to the K3LR, WE3C and NR4M teams and especially to all of the
operators at W3LPL who achieved highly competitive results in this DX contest.
We particularly enjoyed having YCCC multi-multi veteran Ed K1EP join us for the
first 12 hours of the contest. Ed especially helped us get off to a very good
start on 20 meters.
Very favorable propagation to Europe allowed us to develop a 500 QSO advantage
to Europe compared to our more northerly competitors. 20 and 15 meters were
particularly favorable during the Saturday daylight hours, 15 and 10 meters
were particularly favorable during Sunday daylight hours, followed by a
particularly strong 80 meter opening to close out the last few hours of the
contest.
