Comments:
K5YG & K2FF used this opportunity to test some different antenna
configurations, especially with respect to raised Beverages and Beverages On
Ground (BOG). Longest was raised at 880 feet, while shortest was BOG at 200
feet...with other configurations/heights in between deployed during the
daylight hours and tested each corresponding evening.
Casual operating netted 400+ Q's and valuable test info going forward. Ran
across KA6BIM (OR) one hour before final SR for a clean sweep of the lower 48.
As usual, enjoyed handing out "Mike Sugar"...along with at least 6
other stations in Mississippi...surprisingly all along the Gulf Coast. Maybe
next year we'll move north and try something different :-)
