Comments:
I'm normally with the K4VIG crew in Wythe County but family obligations kept me
at home this year. VA activity seemed very good-on 40m. Very little activity
on 20m or above. The higher bands are a tough shot to VA from southeast
Tennessee. But there were very few packet spots for VA stations on the higher
bands. Could not even hear others working VA. Saturday session had to compete
with several other contests. The Russian DX contest pretty well obliterated the
VAQP frequencies on 20m. Where were the mobiles? Only worked two.
