Comments:
K3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care
retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. W3GB
and N3UM operated in ARRL SSB. We planned Multi-2 but we
both had distractions (W3GB and wife recovering from flu,
N3UM had prepaid concert tickets) and always had only one TX
on at a time.
Got 57 Qs and 31 mults beaming south on 20 m.
in 2.5 hrs. Fri. evening. Not on again till Sat. but made 100
EU Qs 16-18 Z fast-tuning on 15 and then on 10 m. Starting at
1936 Z on 20 m., fast-tuned EUs for 70 min. and then ran them
2048-2139 Z, 75 Qs at 88/hr. After dark got 109 Qs and 65
mults on low bands. On Sun. got good rates tuning and for
short runs, on 15 m. in the AM and 20 m. in the PM until
2033 Z. Then from 2044 Z to QRT at 2233, got 33 Qs on 10 m.
and 26 on 15 m. plus a couple dozen mults, beaming south.
