Comments:
This weekend was challenging for contesting - my youngest daughter graduated
high school Friday night, and she had a graduation open house on Saturday
afternoon. I knew I would have to pick a single band effort that was largely
restricted to night time hours if I wanted to be on the air.
40 meters was wide-open to the world but with less robust propagation than
before. I had to ask for several exchange repeats given the weakness of some of
the stations. It is tough to contest world wide with an A index > 15!
