Comments:

Temporarily put a 2-element Diamond 6 meter beam up about 15 feet and turned it
using the economy model of the Armstrong Rotator. Operated about 9 hours off
and on split evenly between Saturday and Sunday doing it between yard work and
other interruptions. Heard Canada (VE1 and VE3) but unable to work them. Did
manage to work the XE station. Only my second time in a 6 meter contest and
had fun but need to learn much more about the peculiarities of the band and
strategies to employ to maximize score. QSB was sometimes a challenge and lost
several QSO's because the other station or I faded out while giving the grid
number.
