Comments:
Just using my K3, KPA500 and a 135' OCF Windom for a 6M only entry.
There was a nice opening during the week before the contests and at the start
it looked like it would be another one of those years where the openings *only*
occurred before and after the contest - nothing but locals to work.
But I came back a few hours later and worked HI3TEJ, YV4DVJ and PJ4NX on
consecutive QSOs, followed by many loud signals from EM and EL grids.
Checked in on Sunday a few times and there was always an opening somewhere to
the EL and EM grids. Later that night things opening to VE1/VE9 and the FN
grids and then over to EU - managed to get EA6SX in the log!
