Comments:

K6XN, K6YN,K8MP,KB8NEW, with guest operator Theresa (studying to earn her
license) operated Field Day as W6DOJ from K6XN’s radio site and cabin located
in the Tahoe National Forest at 5000 feet elevation in the California Sierra
using solar power, batteries and as needed Honda EU2000i generators. We ran low
power (150 Watts) and used beloved antique equipment e.g. four Icom IC-751A
transceivers. We used four element KLM beams on 40,20,15 and 10M, a 546 foot
horizontal loop antenna on 160M , a 40M dipole and an inverted Vee antenna on
80M. K8MP, Joe, traveled to our FD site from Ohio and KB8NEW, Brian traveled to
our FD site from Utah. Thanks for all the fun!!
