Comments:
I was able to spend 18 hours in the contest and had lots of fun, even though
conditions were very poor. 10 was dead, with my one contact being with another
KH6. I never heard anyone else and called CQ many times to no avail. 15 was
only open (poorly)for a few hours Saturday morning. Not a single JA heard or
logged on 15! 20 was open to somewhere most of the contest, but not great.
The one opening to Europe for me with my low hexxbeam, Saturday evening, was
poor and short, only leading to seven or eight contacts. 40 was very good late
Saturday evening, but 80 was very poor then. Almost all of my 80 meter contacts
were at the start of the contest, which was 0200 Hawaiian time. A quick review
of some published scores shows large numbers of HQ mults. They must have been
mainly in Europe, because I sure didn't work them.
Thanks for all the Q's!
Aloha, Kent
