Comments:
I tried a new radio and setup this week,
getting ready for NAQP RTTY - UGHH!
At first, nobody could copy me, so I
did some local testing and determined I
was inverted, and then bit-stuffing was
garbling my signal. I got all that changed
and I started making contacts. Then on the
next band the radio insisted I wanted AFSK,
not FSK, so no keying...until I got that
fixed. Then I spent too much time trying to
figure out why the panadapter wasn't displaying
correctly. Then when I might have gone to 80m
for a couple, the 4-square was stuck pointing
to the Pacific. Oh well... another learning
experience.
