Portable QRP operation on Sunday afternoon from Holt Hill in Andover, Mass.
Elevation 420'.
Weather was mostly sunny, 87F, with a couple of raindrops felt from one passing
cloud.
Station Equipment:
- Yaesu FT-817ND @ 5 Watts
- Elk 2M/440L5 portable log periodic antenna
Casual, fun Sunday single-band effort during an afternoon hike & picnic
with the YL. I mostly called CQ on 432 for 45 minutes. Three QSOs and two
squares was a better result than expected given the late hour.
