Comments:
Yet another fun night. Each and every QSO was a terrific pleasure, for sure.
I thought I would NEVER get K6RB to hear me. Bless his heart (we use that
phrase a whole lot here in the Deep South...and it cures nearly ANYTHING), he
tried, but he just couldn't pull me out. But, did I give up and go away? No
way! I was like that proverbial burr under his saddle. I just kept calling
and calling and calling until the sun got frustrated and burst forth such a
geomagnetic storm that the ionosphere became charged immediately and...VOILA!
He gave me a Q! I guess his 'puny station filter' batteries ran out suddenly
and he could actually hear enough of my long call sign that he figured he'd
better QSO me so I'd go away and leave the stray RF off his running freq. Hey!
It worked!
Thanks to Bert, F6HKA, for another great Q on 20. It's always great to hear
that FB op on CWTs.
Excited to hear Con, K5CM, with that new number, too.
Lots to celebrate tonight, so let's all stay positive. The world will be a
better place if we think about, focus upon, and perform positive things.
73,
