Comments:

CLOSED STATION AT 11:43 pm SATURDAY EVENING AS COULD HEAR NO NEW STATIONS AND MY
RUNS HAD LONG SINCE GONE DRY. JUST FOR KICKS I TRIED 160 METERS FOR ABOUT SIX
MINUTES AT THE END AND WORKED IT DRY, BUT DID MANAGE TO COLLECT SIX MORE MULTS
IN THE PROCESS. LSITENED TO 40 FOR A FEW MINUTES IN HOPES OF FINDINF SOMETHING
UN-WORKED TO NO AVAIL. THERE WAS A VERY STRANGE LOUD ROAR ALL OVER 40 METERS,
AS I SECURED, LIKE THE AURORA. BOTH OF MY STEPPIR'S YAGI'S WERE ON THE FRITZ,
SO IT WAS PRIMARILY THE OCF DIPOLE CARRYING THE MAIL. THANKS TO ALL WHO CALLED.
73, BILL #419
